How it works
The Homing Missile feels only 25% of normal gravity, so it floats. Guidance switches on a short way into the flight: after about a quarter of the distance to the target (between 60 and 240 px), when it starts to fall, or after a fraction of a second, whichever comes first.
Once locked, it turns toward the nearest enemy and feels only 35% of the wind. It explodes with a 40 px radius and 32 damage, a touch more than a missile.
When to use it
- Long range and strong wind, where an unguided shell is a guess.
- Targets behind a ridge: aim high, and the missile will turn down onto them.
